Rockman traces the birth of reggae in Southern Italy through the controversial and deeply human journey of Militant P (Piero Longo), founding father of Sud Sound System.
Spanning over twenty years of cultural resistance — from the early reggae-dub scene in Bari to the breakthrough of Sud Sound System — the film portrays a counterculture in transformation.
More than a music documentary, it is the story of a dream that refuses to fade, capturing the tension between underground authenticity and public recognition.
